What worked well was the good advice you gave us about what would work and what wouldn’t and therefore keeping it cost-effective, you visited us and gave us face to face advice and had the ability to make as many changes as were needed until such a point that the scheme was satisfactory.
What could have been a bit better would have been to help us set realistic expectations early on, such as quickly finding a builder and advising us on eventual build costs, especially the effect of the hedge on the foundations.
