Extension in Kingsmead

Our clients wanted a larger kitchen and family space opening onto the garden but the utility room was in the way. We considered a few ideas but the game changer was to relocate the utility room. The family room now opens onto the garden with bi-fold doors, which together with the clerestory window allows plenty of light to flood in.  A utility room is an absolute must for a busy open-plan family home with kids and a dog.
